BENQ TH685P Review – Best Selling Projector

BENQ TH685P REVIEW

The BENQ TH685P is a 4K projectors that has a lot of features and is one of the best-selling projectors in the market right now. This projector can be used for both home theaters and classrooms with ease, thanks to its wide range of connectivity options and high quality image output. It has an affordable price tag as well, so you won’t have trouble finding one at your local store or online marketplace like Amazon or eBay.

Unboxing

Unboxing the projector is a breeze. The box is sturdy, and the projector itself comes very well protected in a plastic sleeve. It takes a bit of time to get all of the accessories out of their individual packages, but once you do it’s easy to set up and connect the TH685P with your computer or other devices.

We love how well this projector was packaged: everything was neatly organized in separate compartments so that nothing got lost during shipping (which we’ve experienced before). We don’t think there’s anything more annoying than having to dig through your box looking for something specific—and we certainly wouldn’t want any pieces missing because they weren’t packed properly!

Besides including two pairs of 3D glasses (and an HDMI cable), this package also includes two 16W speakers with remote control; however, these speakers aren’t necessary if you’re using headphones or earbuds instead.

Specs

The BenQ TH685P is a high-performance 4K UHD TV that supports HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), and Dolby Vision. It features a smart TV platform with built-in apps such as Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube and BBC iPlayer as well as support for Google Cast streaming. The TH685P has a slim profile measuring 32mm at its thickest point—making it ideal for wall mounting or placing on your desk thanks to its thin bezel design.

The screen has an aspect ratio of 16:9 which means you get more screen real estate than if it were 6×4 or 4×3 formats; this also helps make images appear sharper when viewed from wide angles because they fill up more space without having them cut off by black bars on either side.

The TH685P includes several picture modes including Standard (default), Dynamic Contrast Optimizer (DCO), Vivid Color plus Black Level Enhancement Plus which can help improve color accuracy by reducing backlight bleeding around dark objects such as shadows or black backgrounds in videos/TV shows.

Design

The BENQ TH685P has an attractive, modern design that’s not too flashy and not too minimal. It’s a good choice for anyone who wants to add some pizzazz to their home theater room without going overboard.

The dark gray body is sturdy but lightweight, with an aluminum finish that looks nice in any environment. There are no visible logos or branding on the front of this projector—you’ll only find touch buttons and controls on its face (in case you want to use it as a PC monitor). The remote control also comes in black and silver rather than white like most other projectors; this makes it easier to hide away when not in use, since most users prefer having their remotes out of sight rather than looking at them all day long!

Picture Quality

The picture quality is very good. The colors are bright and vivid, with a high contrast ratio that makes dark scenes look deep black. The projector has excellent sharpness, clarity and brightness range as well, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

The BENQ TH685P delivers an impressive 1000 lumens of brightness which means you can watch your favorite movies in any room without having to worry about dimming lights or lowering the volume on your TV speakers. And don’t worry about color accuracy either—the BENQ TH685P’s color gamut covers over 95% NTSC standard space (which means you’ll get accurate colors), while having 100% coverage over Rec 709 space (which is just as good).

Sound Quality

The sound quality on the BENQ TH685P is good, but not great. The speaker is loud and clear, which makes it great for watching movies and playing games. However, if you want to listen to music while watching TV or movies, your ears will feel like they’re being poked by needle-nose pliers after a few minutes of listening to anything with bass in it (which isn’t too much of an issue with this monitor).

Hardware & Features

The BENQ TH685P is a 4K UHD TV with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. It has a brightness of 5000 lumens and supports HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision (DV). This particular model also comes with two HDMI ports, one USB port and one VGA port for video input needs.

The TH685P has 1 audio in jack for listening to music or watching videos on your computer; as well as 1 composite video output for connecting to older devices like DVD players or gaming consoles that still use analog signals rather than high-definition ones. Additionally, there are 2 component video outputs—one for distributing content from Blu-ray players into multiple rooms so everyone can watch at once; the other serves as an alternative method if you don’t have any way of connecting directly

to your television set but want something else besides cables running across floors or walls instead!

Remote Control

The remote is simple but well-made, with a good range and responsive buttons. It feels durable, too, which is nice when you’re spending $150 on your TV. The only downside is that it doesn’t have any extra buttons other than volume control—but if you need those things, there are better remotes available on Amazon for less money (and they may even come with some fun extras like voice commands).

Gaming Performance

The Benq TH685P is a great gaming monitor. It has an excellent response time and delivers vibrant colors, but it’s not quite as bright as some other monitors in its price range.

The Benq TH685P has great input lag when playing games, which means that if you’re playing competitively with friends or on your own, you’ll have no problem keeping up with them at all times. If you’re looking for something that’s easy on the eyes and doesn’t require much tweaking out of the box (if any), then this is definitely an option worth considering!

Bottom Line

If you are looking for a projector that can deliver good quality images and is easy to use, then the BENQ TH685P is a great choice. The image quality is excellent, as well as its performance in terms of brightness and color accuracy. This makes it perfect for use at home or in the office environment where high quality content is being viewed regularly.

BENQ has also provided some useful features such as two HDMI ports so that you can connect multiple devices at once without having them suffer from lag or stutter while playing video games or watching movies on Netflix or YouTube etcetera…

BENQ TH685P IS A GREAT PROJECTOR FOR YOU

If you’re looking for a projector that can do it all, the TH685P is your best bet. It’s got fantastic performance in all categories, and its high contrast ratio allows it to produce deep blacks during movie night. But what really sets this model apart from other projectors is its 4K UHD resolution capabilities. While not many people need this level of detail at home at present (especially those who don’t own 4K TVs), there are still plenty of occasions where having access to such crisp visuals will be beneficial—and that’s why I’m going with BenQ here instead of some other brand name because they make great products overall.

Conclusion

Overall, the BENQ TH685P is a great projector for you. It’s affordable, easy to use and offers some of the best picture quality we’ve ever seen. If you want something that can be used in both home theater and gaming environments then this is definitely worth checking out!
