sony vpl 790es

Sony VPL-VW790ES or also known as the VW915ES in the U.S.A. It is a major upgrade over Sony VW760ES. However, even after adding some new features in VW790ES, its price range hasn’t increased.

It is an affordable premium versatile 4K projector with many new features, for example HDR enhancer. Dynamic HDR enhancer manages to increase the brightness, accuracy and black levels of the projected image.

For home theater use, it offers 4K Ultra HD resolution, higher quality colors, along with better black levels and improved shadow detail. Dual Contrast control makes sure every scene and detail brings out more lifelike images to the screen. Furthermore, Motionflow technology reduces blur by adding frames to it. So, you can see smoother and clearer movies and series without reducing the brightness.

If you’re a gamer, then Sony VW790ES will be a perfect projector for you. With input lag reduction turned on, it has 35.9ms input lag for both 4K content and gaming. Though, it is not best for hardcore professional gamers who need at least 16ms input lag, but it is great for most hardcore players as you’ll not see any delay and your game play will be smooth and fast.

JVC DLNA-N7 Review

JVC DLNA-NX7

JVC DLNA-N7 or also known as RS2000 model. It is a true native 4k projector and is the successor of the JVC RS50 model projector.

The JVC DLNA-N7 uses a 17-element lens array that brings out truly sharp 4K images. High dynamic range further maximize the contrast ratio, by making dark parts darker and bright parts brighter. Its black levels are excellent.

Auto-Tone Mapping system is the most advanced feature of the JVC DLNA-NX7. It automatically adjusts the setting of the projector according to the average light setting of the video to deliver high-quality image.

For cinema fans, if you want to watch a movie on a 120” inch screen, without ambient lightning, then this projector with 1900 lumens of brightness will be perfect for you. However, images would appear slightly washed out, if you watch a movie in a brighter environment.

JVC DLNA-NX7’s color production is excellent, with wide color gamut covering much of DCI-P3 color space brings a lifelike picture on the screen.
